Star Belle

There’s no better way to greet spring than by spending an evening listening to Star Belle on The Listening Room stage. Hope Dunbar, Emily Dunbar and Jessica Luebbe combine their songwriting talents and their beautiful voices to create a unique sound that is gaining notoriety across the Nebraska and in Colorado, where they have performed twice at the Denver UkeFest. The opening act will be Doris Winkler and Robin Harrell.

Susan Werner in Concert – The Lark invites you to: a concert by Susan Werner on Sunday, April 19 at 7:30 pm.  Admission is FREE and reservations are recommended!! Singer/songwriter Susan Werner confirms her reputation as an artist changeable as the weather with her newest recording, Hayseed. The album pays tribute to American agriculture and to her Iowa farm roots.

This concert is a collaboration between The Lied Center’s Arts Across Nebraska series, The hastings College Music Department and The Listening Room.  Seating is limited; reserve tickets by contacting the Hastings College music department  (402-461-7448) or The Lark. Located at 809 West 2nd Street,  The Lark is a fully renovated performance and gathering space with superior acoustics, versatile lighting, and contemporary design grounded by historic elements.  In addition to The Listening Room concert series, The Lark produces in-house arts programming and hosts visiting arts organizations as well as a variety of community and family meetings and events.

Mission:  The Lark celebrates and nurtures art, music and life.

Purpose: The Lark will foster the arts in Hastings and surrounding communities; providing artistic and cultural growth through observation, education, inspiration and participation.
